In this Atlas the Authors wish to clearly express the various technical sequences and surgical techniques which the implantologist must follow in order to obtain successful implantation with adequate prosthetic results over the implants. The multimodal approach, instead of the monoimplant technique, allows the patients to be completely rehabilitated with implants that can be placed into or over the remaining morphological conditions that exist at the time of surgery. Ignoring the multimodal approach not only shortchanges the patient's options but also limits the amount of teeth that are to be replaced. Due to such a multitude and complexity of methods which can be used in oral implantology, all patients can benefit from a predictable rehabilitation which will satisfy their health, cosmetic and esthetic demands as can be demonstrated by the thousands of cases treated by the authors.
